Pepper  Sauce (Free on both plans)

6 Large mushrooms, sliced

1/2 large onion, sliced

Loads ground peppercorns

1/2 tsp bovril paste

2 large tbsp Quark cheese

 

In a small saucepan, add mushrooms, onions, peppercorns, bovril and just enough water to cover.  Cook on low heat until onions and mushrooms are soft. Bring to boil and then (very importantly - remove from heat).  Quickly add quark cheese and stir then serve immediately. (Can be used over steak, chicken, pork etc or even used in a jacket potato).  Any veg can be used but do not add quark when pot is still on heat or mixture will curdle. Can also be cooked before hand without quark being added and then heated up when needed finally adding the quark. (Hope you understand this!)
